How to request deletion
There is not yet an in-app delete button. Email us and we will delete the account.
- Write from the same email address you use to sign in, if you still have access to it.
- Send the message to avi.jit@abhyaslearning.com.
- Use the subject line Delete Abhyas Languages account.
- Include your full name, the sign-in email, and a sentence that you want the account and associated personal data deleted.
If you no longer have that inbox, say so in the email and give any classroom or institute name you remember so we can find the right record.
What we delete
- Your sign-in (email/password account).
- Your learner profile (name, user ID, role).
- Course enrollments and class-code membership tied to that account.
- Learning progress, answers, scores, and speaking transcripts stored for that account.
What we may keep for a short time
- Security logs needed to confirm the request was genuine.
- Backups that age out on a normal backup cycle.
- Classroom copies a teacher already exported or recorded outside the app. Ask your institute if you also need those removed.
We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request.
What deletion does not do
- Uninstalling Abhyas Languages from your phone does not delete the account. You must email us.
- We cannot delete only some lessons and keep the same login. Deletion removes the whole account.
- If you only want to leave a classroom, ask your teacher first; that is not the same as deleting the account.
Privacy
